Shaping the Future of the Youghal Arts Centre

A public consultation meeting will be held in The Mall Arts Centre, Youghal, on Wednesday, 27th February from 6pm – 9pm to facilitate the input of all interested parties into the proposed new business plan for the Mall Arts Centre, aimed at utilising the Centre to its maximum potential and will form part of the overall Arts Plan for Youghal.

Organised by the Youghal Socio-Economic Development Group, the group has set out a vision for Arts and Culture in Youghal as being “a recognised centre of Arts excellence, built upon strengths of its communities”.

Ger O’Riordan, Arts & Culture Officer for Youghal urged as many individuals and groups to turn up on the evening, saying: “We want this process to be all-inclusive. We are calling on all interested tourism providers, community, sporting and educational groups, as well as arts groups and individuals to come along and voice their opinions on the way forward for their Arts Centre.

Light refreshments will be served on the evening.
