The success story of Youghal Credit Union Limited is underlined this week with the launch of a web based online account access system for members.
The new service which begins this Friday will allow members to view their account details, make loan applications, download forms and submit queries online. The service is aimed at members who do not wish to visit the office but wish to remotely access their accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Michael Sheehan, Marketing Officer of Youghal Credit Union, says it is the first phase of a service that will allow members to transfer funds between accounts and out of accounts to pay bills. Eventually the service will be the same as 24 hour online banking. The service will allow the credit union to keep up with changing times and will encourage members to use their accounts when, for example, they are in college.
The service was launched on Friday and is open to members to register online . A demonstration will be available to members over the coming weeks and any queries will be answered by a dedicated staff member in the main office. Members who register will enter a draw for a 32” widescreen TV. Members can access their accounts at www.youghalcu.com
