Bertie Ahern and Youghal Town Cllr. Mary Linehan Foley

As a Fianna Fail councillor for the last nine years I feel today is the end of an era. Bertie has made his last public appearance as leader of our country. He will be fondly remembered for all the great work he has done for our country especially the peace process. He was one of the greatest leaders of our time. But like everything else in life we have to look forward, and change is good. I am looking forward to working with our new Taoiseach Mr Brian Cowen and will be knocking on his door shortly to make sure that Youghal is high on his agenda. My main project at the moment is getting our railway line back. It is vital for the future of our town and east cork.
Kind Regards,
Cllr. Mary Linehan Foley

Hi Guys, I have been on holidays and has been a while since I have stopped by, but your site is much improved, a lot friendlier on the eye and very professional! Well done! Mervyn.
