Chatterbox Performance Group will once again take to the stage in the Mall Arts Centre, Youghal on May 19th and 20th for their annual dance and drama spectacular. After the sell out performance last year, the Chatterbox students are in rehearsals for what promises to be an even bigger and brighter show.
Audiences can look forward to dance medleys from some of today’s top artists such as Michael Buble and Rhianna, with a sprinkling of some well known musical theatre numbers that will leave viewers ‘dazzled’. Of course no junior stage production is complete without an homage to the global phenomenon the is - High School Musical! “With the introduction this year of new dance and drama classes, this year’s production will host more students bringing their talents and enthusiasm to the stage.
Our student’s ages range from 4 to 15 years, from beginners who will tread the boards for the first time to more seasoned performers! They have all worked hard over the last few months to ensure a production guaranteed to entertain young and old.” Ruth Hayes, director.
Tickets for the ‘Chatterbox Summer Showcase’ are on sale now at Cree’s Card Shop at €10 adult and €5 child and O.A.P’s. Performance begins at 8p.m.
