Momentum Builds For European Beach Challenge Youghal 20th – 22nd June 2008

Momentum is building in Youghal for what promises to be the biggest ever festival to take place in the town on 20th – 22nd June 2008.
With programming details being finalised, the organising committee are currently preparing for the festival’s first major media launch, due to take place on the week commencing 19th May 2008.
From here a hard-hitting advertising and media campaign will ensue, using PR, signage, including banners and posters, print advertising and radio promotions to effectively promote the event.
The Youghal Socio-Economic Development Group (YSEDG) wishes to sincerely thank the businesses and individuals who have made financial contributions towards hosting this non-commercial event. A reminder however to those who have not yet done so – please get your contribution directly into Youghal Town Council Offices as the organising committee are currently finalising sponsors details on promotional material!!
The YSEDG has received official assurances from ‘P1′ (Power Boating Authority) that the adverse media coverage on Youghal Beach will have NO bearing on Youghal’s chances of hosting the main event in 2009. Youghal is still currently at the top of a very small short list.
