Members of the Youghal Karate Club who recently passed their grading.
Congratulations to the members of the Youghal Karate Club who recently passed their grading held in Youghal which moves each student up to a higher level and standard. They were were extremely successful in the recent tournament held in Piltown Kilkenny taking first second and third places in their respective events.

Also Stuart competed in the I.J.K.A Irish Open Karate Championship’s (which is a different organisation to which he normally competes in), held in Fermoy on Sunday last 27th April. There Stuart won 1st Place in the Team Kumite AND the Team Kata event.
The club will have students attending a Karate course being held this weekend in Mayfield Cork under the legendary Sensei Nobuaki Kanazawa (World Champion) son of the top Karateka in the world 10th Dan Kancho Kanazawa.
The Youghal Karate club teaches beginners to advanced black belts on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s at 7:00-8:00 every week in the Youghal Community Centre and is always open to newcomers.
