Start of the Emer Casey Memorial 10k in Youghal (May 2008)

A sincere thank you to everybody who took part in the very successful Emer Casey Memorial 10k on 25th May and to the very efficient and willing organisers. Thanks to the generosity of Sponsors and Donators, the amount raised to date from this year’s run is €41,737.
An initial donation of €160,000 has been made to the Discovary Consortium dedicated to reducing the diseases mortality rate. The consortium is making very good progress on developing an early detection test for ovarian cancer. Without your support, The Emer Casey Memorial 10k would not be possible.
