The AGM of the North and East Cork Citizens’ Information Service was held at The Holy Family Church Hall. The Citizens’ Information Board is a statutory body which supports the provision of information, advice and advocacy on a broad range of social and civil services to the public. It provides the Citizens’ Information website and supports the voluntary network of Citizens’ Information Services and the Citizens’ Information Phone Service.
The North and East Cork Citizens’ Information Services is the board of directors that facilitates the CIC Centres in Youghal, Cobh, Fermoy, Mallow and Mitchelstown. The head office is in Fermoy and the manager is based there. The Centres are mainly staffed by trained volunteers but there are also some paid staff.

The Youghal Centre is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm. We are also open on Tuesday afternoon from 2pm to 4.30pm. The Centre gives free and confidential information on state services and entitlements as well as local information. The subjects covered are Health, Social Welfare, Travel, Education, Family, The Courts, The Environment and much more. We will also help you to fill out forms etc. if that is needed.
