Since I operate a fashion label that specialises in Fairtrade cotton, I regularly take part in local events. I'm always surprised to come across people who have no idea what it is! At least Fairtrade Fortnight and similar events creates a platform to have a dialogue with people about it--that what you shop for is a form of voting and real change!
