Cork Ladies Football Captain calls for support for Amnesty Cork in Mini Marathon

Angela Walsh, Captain of the Cork Ladies Football Team has called for Walkers / Runners to Support Amnesty Cork Group in their Human Rights Campaigns in Ireland on Women’s issues such as ” Stop Violence Against Women”, ” Gender Based Discrimination” and ” Support for Victims of Trafficking ”.
As the Cork Ladies Team prepare for the All Ireland Final, she encouraged women of all ages to get walking or running and show you care. ” Whatever county you’re from, womens’ issues effect us all ” she said. ” While each person may have their own favourite charity, if you’re undecided Amnesty may be the one for you” said Angela. Mini Marathon Office opening times are Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th 10am to 4pm and Thursday 25th, 2pm to 8pm, upstairs at Debenhams, Patrick Street.
