Youghal Hurlers Play In Croke Park

On Sat 4th October 2008 Youghal u12 hurlers travelled to Croke Park to take part in an u12s hurling tournament. It was a big day for these young players as they joined an exclusive group of those that have graced the hallowed turf of GAA headquarters.

After the games the team and their supporters were treated to a tour of the stadium and a visit to the GAA museum. Who knows but one day some of these players may play on that same pitch again to represent their county. Either way, the memories of this first trip will stay with them for a lifetime.
