Youghal Yappers re-launched with a powerful display of all that Toastmasters can offer.

Youghal Yappers
The keynote speaker was Michael Cronin from the Mallow club, who’s speech on dealing with call centres located outside Ireland was well received by those present. Michael gave a wonderful tour-de-force of his award winning speech and in the process demonstrated the heights that people can climb by engaging with Toastmasters.
Helen Hourican, filed the educational slot from the Glanmire club, who explained the benefits members derive from filling the roles at meetings of Youghal Yappers.
Eric Downey led the impromptu session, area organiser for Toastmasters International in east Cork. Questions raised were interesting and varied ranging from movies to works of art depicting politicians.
Local member Chris Bailey supporting the club president Ivan O’Sullivan chaired the meeting. John Colbert, from the Garryvoe club led the feedback session with the speech feedback given by Michael O’Connell.
Next meeting of Youghal Yappers is on Thursday 9th April at 7:45 in the Cumann na Daoine hall on Catherine Street, Youghal. All are welcome and admission is FREE. More details at www.youghalyappers.org.
