The Tom Egan Lifeboat

Hello, I am trying to research the history of The Tom Egan Lifeboat. I have a model of it that I am restoring. It is a whaleboat type and I believe it served with distinction off the south coast of Ireland in the mis 1800′s. Any help in the search would be appreciated.

  1. Apparently the Tom Egan Lifeboat entered service in Tramore Co Waterford in 1865.
