What beautiful beaches we have at our doorstep, And its great to see the on going work being carried out to provide picnic faciities etc. However with all the rubbish bins being installed by the Council, surely they must realise that these NEED TO BE EMPTIED and not just during the week, but at the weekends as it does’nt take much common sence to realise that this is when its most busy !!!.
I was heartned however somewhat to see some teenagers cleaning up the mess on a voluntry basis, however the problem here is of course health issues and where do you leave the rubbish ?.
At the weekend just past (June 27th / 28th) One of the bins at the end of the car park was completely full with further beer cans and rubbish piled up next to it, unfortunately however it was on the ground and this looked terrible, especially as it was close also to the life guard station. Please please can someone in the Council do something about this.
