The Youghal Triathlon 2009 took place last Saturday 18th July. Youghal’s Triathlon is aimed at all levels, from elite competitors to ‘first time’ entrants. Starting at the Front Strand Youghal with a 750m swim followed by 19km on bike and finishing with a 6.5km run back at the start/finish line on the strand. The event was organised by Youghal Festivals. Souvenir Polo Shirts for all were provided to all entrants and refreshments available after the race. Photo Michael Hussey www.youghalonline.com

Congratulations to Brian & Nicola on being the first male & female Youghalies over the line.
