Community Radio Youghal are off to the Festival

The Festival kicks off on Friday night at 7pm with The Mardi Gras Parade which we will bring you live on The Tommy Collins Show and it will also see the debut of Laura Hennessy and Ricky Roche  from the Just Shuffle Show  (9-10 on Wed nights)  as MC’s from the stage in Market Square where they will be joined by Bobby Whyte and of course  Tommy Collins himself as co hosts of the event.

We will be bringing you live updates all day on Saturday from Market Square and various locations throughout the town and the This Week Programme 3-5pm (in association with the East Cork Journal) will be brought to you live from Market Square.

Saturday night sees the crowning of Youghal’s first ever Queen of the Sea. The event is kicking off at 7pm and CRY will be there live as MC Tommy Collins  interviews the girls on stage as the judges make their final deliberations.

Sunday is kiddies day in Greenpark from 12 to 4 and CRY’s Teenage stars take to the airwaves live in Greenpark. Evan Heaphy; The American Country Show, (wednesday’s 8-9  )  Just Shuffle (wednesdays 9-10 ),  T&C  aka Tuathla and Carol   (Tuesdays  4-5)  and Jack and    Simon; Super Sounds of the 70′s and 80′s (Wednesdays 4.30 to 5) will all be showcasing their individual shows on the day so their will be a fantastic mix of music ,chat ,interviews and much more from 12pm .
