“Youghal is ideally positioned roughly half-way between Cork and Waterford. We need to use that to our advantage and become a hub for tourists visiting that area,” commented Youghal 4 All Secretary, Adrian Hyde. “We have so much in Youghal in comparasion to other towns – five beaches that are literally on our doorstep and a town steeped in history including the longest town walls in the Republic! It’s not often towns have so much natural amenities and this website capitalises on that opportunity.”

An events calendar is also included and clubs, societies and businesses are encouraged to add their events on an ongoing basis using the easy submit form on the website. “Business events, plays, matches, live music, discos and cultural events are all attractions to the visitor wondering whether to visit the town so it’s vital that Youghal presents a calendar packed with events,” said Youghal 4 All Chairman, Jim Flanagan. “Having your event listed can make or break a visitor’s decision to visit Youghal so we’d appeal to all businesses to include their events.”

With a wealth of data for the visitor, the site aims to promote Youghal as a ‘must go’ destination and seeks to provide information in an easy to access manner. Any queries on the site can be sent to or to one of the committee members.
