Stormy weather hits Youghal – Wed. 15th August 2012

Photos of the severe weather conditions in Youghal on Wednesday 15th August 2012. The promenade in the front strand was cordoned off for safety. The front strand and Green Park were covered in sea foam coming in from the sea due to the very high winds and the high tide. Locals and tourists alike came to see and had a good time watching the storm as it developed. Local fishermen said they had never seen stormy weather like this in the middle of summer.
