Made with the support of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland under the Sound and Vision scheme, the 15 part series sees 16 local primary schools fight it out to become the overall CRY Quiz champions 2012. The primary schools involved put forward a team of four students chosen from their senior cycle and each programme saw them compete over six rounds including General Knowledge, Sport, Science and Nature, Music, Maths and Lithtrú Gaeilge.
Recorded in The GAA club in Magners Hill in May and June ,The CRY production team thoroughly enjoyed working with so many of the local primary schools from both the East Cork and West Waterford area and both the students who took part in the quiz and those who came along to support the teams were a credit to all the schools involved. We would also like to thank the teachers and parents who helped the teams prepare for the quiz and who took time out from their busy schedules to accompany the teams to the recordings.
