Congratulations to Michelle Lawton and her family who travelled to Curraheen Park for the February Greyhound Spectacular in the Cork GAA Clubs Draw.

The Lawton’s were wined and dined and had a wonderful night out and to top it all off Michelle had the second dog home in Race 6, netting her a nice €500.

Lá  Fhéile Padraig

As we prepare to celebrate our National Holiday Youghal GAA would like to congratulate the Cork Hill/Youghal Pipe Band for their brilliant organising of the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Youghal. Garryvoe Hotel Junior Football League Division 2

Youghal will play against Cobh this coming Tuesday night at Magners Hill in the East Cork Garryvoe Hotel Junior Football League Division 2. After a great start with an opening win in Ballynoe against St Catherine’s, there was disappointment with a defeat to Glenville, but this is Youghal’s opportunity to get things back on track in their first home game of the 2011 League, so it is hoped that plenty people turn up to cheer on the lads.
